Winter Pregnancies

This has been a very cold winter. I think this is the coldest year in the history of Bangladesh! I wonder how my little babies are doing in such cold temperatures. I quickly go out for my work in the cold morning for house visits. With the grace of Almighty I found all of the children are well and fine. I held a courtyard session this week with pregnant mothers and talked about the importance of extra food intake during pregnancy. I also showed them the proper way to breastfeed. They seemed to like my session! Later in the week I held another community meeting with almost 25 men to discuss my role in the community and their roles and responsibilities. I think I succeeded in motivating them.
